The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer-adaptive standardized test in Mathematics and the English language for measuring aptitude to succeed academically in graduate business studies. Business schools, principally in the United States, but also in other English-speaking countries use the test as an important selection criteria for admission into their graduate business administration programs like MBA, Master of Accountancy etc. The GMAT exam is sponsored, owned, and directed by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), USA and is administered around the world by independent Testing Organization Pearson VUE.
