Tuition and living costs are lower than in most of the European Union, and degrees are recognised across it.
Medicine and engineering
Long-established medical schools in Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs and Szeged teach in English, alongside strong engineering programmes.
Stipendium Hungaricum
A government scholarship covering tuition, a monthly stipend and help with accommodation, with places set aside for Bangladesh each year.
Generous work rights
Students can work up to 30 hours a week during term, more than many EU countries allow.
