Why study in Poland
Poland offers English-taught degrees at moderate tuition, with low living costs and a central location in the European Union. Visa checks for students became stricter from 2024, so careful preparation matters more than before.
Moderate tuition
Most English-taught programmes cost €2,000 to €6,000 a year, well below Western Europe.
Low living costs
Rent and daily costs are lower than in most EU countries, especially outside Warsaw and Kraków.
Engineering, IT and medicine
Technical and medical universities run long-established programmes taught in English.
In the European Union
A Polish residence permit lets you visit other Schengen countries for short stays.
